A new marketing partnership in New York is proving that targeted marketing is making great strides. Situation Marketing LLC, an online marketing strategy group servicing the theatrical industry, and Hopstop.com, a widely used mass transit directions portal in New York City, have announced an advertising partnership today where Broadway will utilize a new street level advertising program recently released from HopStop.com.
Hopstops Street Level (SL) new advertising program reportedly allows advertisers the ability to deliver highly targeted advertisements based on a users street level location. Hopstop claims that, to date, no other Web site offers such a level of granular local advertising in the New York City area.
As part of the advertising agreement, the new programs technology will allow Situation Marketing the ability to deliver advertising for Broadway shows for those specifically traveling to the Times Square area.
A current list of shows that will be participating in the launch of the program includes Chicago, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Rent, and Avenue Q.

Hopstop.com provides tourists and residents with door-to-door walking and route directions via public transportation systems. Hopstop says it does for users of the public transportation systems what Mapquest.com does for vehicle owners.
