BizTalk Technical Reviews
Consumers will also be enabled to conduct price and product
comparisons on MSN using the CompareNet product information service. Microsoft
plans to charge a referral fee or commission on each sale completed
using MSN once the service is fully up and running.
BizTalk, along with other framework initiatives will be reviewed in
detail with system developers at TechEd in Dallas, Texas on May 21-18,
1999. BizTalk schemas will be reviewed with customers, vendors,
industry consortia, and other interested parties beginning in the second
half of 1999. Once these documents are released, Microsoft will make
them available to the public for review and comment on the Microsoft Web
site.
Meanwhile, I''m keeping my eyes peeled on any new initiatives that
affect XML and e-commerce. As new standards are released, I''ll download
them, pore through them, and try to help you to better understand what
they mean and how to implement them.
Keep those cards and letters
coming!
