Create Customized Video Ads in Minutes By Michelle Megna

If you want to capitalize on the video ad trend, but being a small online business owner find it too expensive, a new service launching today claims it has the answer. AditAll, an end-to-end video ad development and placement service, goes live today, says it provides small e-tailers with an affordable way to create and distribute online video advertising.
"We've created a platform primarily for small businesses," said Rodger Wells, vice president of business development and marketing. "They can select footage from our library, edit it by adding text, their logo and a narration, make their own 15-second video ad that they own the rights to, then download it and place it or put it in our 'run it' program, which puts in ad networks and makes it optimized for search engines."
The average cost for creating your own video ad can run anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000, Wells said, depending on production costs and so on. AditAll ads will cost about $300 to $700, he told Ecommerce-Guide, including ownership rights.
Producers Profit by Participating What is groundbreaking about this service, and part of the reason why it can keep costs low, is the way the company is embracing the producer community. Anyone who shoots video and has left over footage, can upload it to the library, and, in turn, get paid for the use of the footage when e-tailers download it to use in an ad. And, if an online seller doesn't see a clip that suits their needs, he or she can post a request, and producers can then submit the desired clip.
"If I'm an advertiser and found clips close to what I need, but not perfect, I can submit an ad request, say I need a woman and daughter on a swing, it can be vague, or specific," said Wells. "It gives the producer community a reason to keep coming to the site, plus they can get real-time feeds to alert them. They may either already have that type of shot and can submit it, or can go shoot it. If you're a film student and burned through all the money your parents sent you, or you make documentaries on a shoestring budget, I bet you'd go out and make some extra money for yourself by shooting some footage for our site."
Capitalize on Clips: AdItAll lets you create customized video ads on a small-business budget.
This is one of the first marketplaces, said Wells, where businesses can have custom video ads developed to their specific needs as well as a place where Producers can find active job requests.
Video Ads: It's As Easy as One, Two, Three Video ads are created by advertisers through AditAll's proprietary three-step process. An advertiser selects a video clip for customization from AditAll's catalog of video assets. Once the clip has been selected it can be customized with soundtracks, audio, narration and graphics. Payment and rights documentation are completed and the video ad is downloaded or routed through AditAll's distribution system for placement.
Through the company's partnership with key content providers, the AditAll community is already populated with thousands of video and audio clips. Producers can become members of the AditAll community and edit these clips into video ad templates. AditAll approved Producers make money when an advertiser uses their edited templates.
There are two options for advertisers: They can buy a "pre-packaged" ad, in which a producer has already taken a video clip and matched it with a soundtrack, and just put their logo on it and they're done. Or, they can start from scratch, mixing in their own pictures and logos, and adding song tracks and graphics from the site. The ads can be downloaded in seven different video formats.
AdItAll can distribute your ad through Google and Yahoo, and you can also display it anywhere you want, as proprietary owner of the end product.
"I do believe our service is going to open up video advertising to a whole new market that's been ignored," said Wells. "Our focus is small businesses with low budgets. There's a lot of them out there that want to do video advertising online, and now they can."
