Peer-to-Peer Working Group Forms

Open Participation
Participation in the P2P Working Group is open to anyone interested in peer-to-peer computing. Members (as of November 2000) include:

Supportive Companies
The following companies have supported the formation of the working group:

Prospective members are asked to read and agree with the P2PWG Antitrust Guidelines to promote an open exchange of ideas and technologies without exclusionary practices.

Contributor class of membership in the P2PWG is $5,000 per year, and includes access to all technical sub-committee works in progress, opportunities to sit on or chair subcommittees, and discounts on P2PWG events. Participant class membership, at $500 per year provides access to specific technical sub-committee works and access to major releases of specifications, design guidelines, and white papers.
